Polices and Practices

• Two adults must be present at each activity (practice or game) at all times. This may include a member of the coaching staff and a parent/guardian. 
• Rainouts will be rescheduled by the League Rep. Games will be rescheduled as allowed by available field time. Games must be made up within two (2) weeks. Game not made up may count as a loss. 
• The home team lines the field and the visiting team rakes/brushes the infield, mound, and home plate areas. 
• The home team shall occupy the first base dugout. 
• Both the home and visiting teams are responsible for trash pickup after completion of each game. 
• The home team has the field for practice until 25 minutes prior to game time. The visiting team will have the field until 5 minutes prior to game time. 
• The line-up must be presented to the opposing team (and game announcer, if applicable) 15 minutes before game time. Line-up must be filled in with complete names and numbers of players. 
• The home team is the official scorer of the game, and the winning team must report the final score to the League Rep. 
• Each team shall designate a pitch count recorder (typically, the scorekeeper). Between each half inning, the pitch count recorders will verify the pitch counts and resolve any discrepancies. 
• The full uniform must be worn during the game. A player not fully dressed will not be permitted to play. 
• No alterations to the league-issued uniform that alter its appearance may be made. This includes adding player names or numbers to any part of the uniform, including shirts and hats, visible to the public. Alterations to ensure proper fit are permitted. 
• Two adults MAY coach the bases as long as there is one adult in the dugout to supervise the players on the bench. 
• In case of inclement weather, the decision to play is the responsibility of the League Official on-duty. Once the game(s) has started, the Home Plate Umpire alone is responsible for weather/darkness related decisions. The Umpire may want to consult with the League Official before making a decision. The League Official on duty may cancel or “call” a game due to darkness or weather for games where an umpire is not assigned. 
• Pitchers may not wear light colored turtlenecks or light colored sleeves, if the apparel, in the umpire’s judgment, will impair the batter’s view of the ball. 
• No more than thee (3) adults are permitted in the dugout or bench area. 
• If an umpire is not present within five (5) minutes of the scheduled starting time, the home team shall be responsible for recruiting a replacement umpire. The home team manager may elect to ask the visiting manager for a volunteer. 
• The Board of Directors will address all valid protests within seven (7) days of protest submission. Protests must be filed properly, according to Rule 4.19. 
• If a game cannot start because of too few players, the League Rep and Player Agent shall be notified as soon as possible to determine an outcome (reschedule, forfeit, etc.) 
• Players that are not present at game time may not be included in the starting lineup. Players arriving after the exchange of line-ups must be added at the end of the batting order upon their arrival. The plate umpire and opposing team shall be notified immediately upon the arrival of such players. 
• The plate umpire and opposing team shall be notified immediately when a player must leave a game (either temporarily or for the duration of the game). 
• The "10 Run Rule" (Rule 4.10 (e) shall be adhered to at all levels of play.                       • Game Collections will be taken by the home team at all games at all levels. Collections are to be turned in to the concession stand.
